    The place is dated, breakfast was not up to standard, doled everything out in dabs, expensive, decent eating places were not convenient. pretty grounds. not a good value. staff was ...

    My husband and I spent last weekend at the Quality Suites in SLO. We drove up for the day and spent one night, and we were totally pleased with this property. The Manager's Reception with complimentary cocktails and munchies was a nice touch. They also offered a poolisde BBQ with simple fare - hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, sausage, & tri tip served with salad or coleslaw - all for $* and under. They have a free DVD library with a nice assortment to choose from. The location is a little far for walking to the downtown area, but all in all it was a great place and we'd definitely stay there again. I'd highly recommend it!

    It seems the nearby hotels are all expensive around school events such as WOW and Parents Weekend. This one is in a great location: - it is walking distance (less than a mile) to both Cal Poly and downtown SLO.

    The room was clean and extremely well furnished. The amenities were above average. Their included breakfast is of high quality and they do not skimp for any aspect of it.

    The wireless internet service was very good - even though I didn't have a PCI slot for a wireless card, they hooked me up with a little USB (for power) and RJ45 (for ethernet) device which performed well.

    We only needed two beds, but I noticed that the couch in the living room was actually a fold out - so ask about that if you need the space.

    I love this place. I have stayed here about 5 times. Free made to order breakfast, free happy hour, Bar B Q almost everynight. Rooms are Spacious. Its Between Applefarm and Splash Cafe, 2 of the best restaurants SLO has to offer. Free computer in the Lobby to use. Service is a little moody but its still worth it. DVD player in the room. BEST OF SLO! I promise!
